A former Greenville Chamber board chair and philanthropist passed away this week.
Hayne Hipp died on Thursday August 28th at the age of 80.
The Greenville Chamber and United Way of Greenville both issued statements mourning his passing.
Hipp was very involved with the United Way.
In 1985, he was Chairman of the Board for the Greenville Chamber.
A private memorial service has been scheduled.
