As Greenville County students begin another week of eLearning on their school-issued Chromebooks, parents can benefit from a video that explains how the online process works.
Parents Guide to Google Classroom (Guía para padres sobre Google Classroom) is an introduction to the eLearning platform used by GCS students in grades 3-12.
The two-and-a-half minute video which compliments a slideshow that was already available on our eLearning webpage shows how teachers share assignments and how course content is accessed.
It also explains how parents can receive an email summary of their child’s Google Classroom assignments, as well as teacher updates through the Parent Backpack.
This informative video can also be viewed with Spanish subtitles simply by clicking on the gear symbol on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
