Released by Greenville County Schools.
As of today, Greenville County Schools is suspending all out-of-state field trips and out-of-state athletic events until after April 26th.
Field trips that are affected by this change may or may not be rescheduled—depending on a number of factors.
We recalled two trips today based on them going to states/cities that have declared states of emergency/public health emergencies.
Also, effective immediately, we are no longer allowing visitors into our schools without clearing a screening process.
As a result, a number of non-essential events may be cancelled, depending on the capacity of the front office staff to clear visitors.
Finally, we are sending coronavirus flyers home with students.
These flyers were printed on March 5th.
