Five people were arrested at protests this weekend about a Confederate statue in Springwood Cemetery downtown.
The City of Greenville Parks and Recreation page reports the statue was erected in 1891.
Protesters who believe the statue is a tribute to racism and its ideals are calling for it to be removed.
Counter-protesters against the removal of the statue also showed up at the protest.
All five of the arrests were for disorderly conduct, although one was also charged with unlawful carry of a pistol.
