Greenville Tech Donates COVID Supplies

Greenville Tech's Respiratory Care Program made a huge donation of supplies to assist Prisma Health treating Coronavirus patients.

The donations came from within the College's School of Health and Sciences and Economic Development and Corporate Training Divisions.

More than 50,000 gloves, 4,000 masks and 480 gowns were donated.

Five (5) ventilators were given on loan.

Greenville Technical College health programs donate supplies to Prisma for Coronavirus effort
Greenville Technical College assisted Prisma Health with Coronavirus supplies by donating a number of items used in the School of Health Sciences and the Economic Development and Corporate Training Division. Included were five ventilators (on loan), more than 50,900 pairs of gloves, 4,005 masks, and 480 gowns. The donation was coordinated by the college’s Respiratory Care program.
“Our employees recognize the importance of putting tools in the hands of those who need them most and came together quickly to collect supplies across a wide range of programs,” said Dr. Keith Miller, president of Greenville Technical College. “As we train future healthcare employees, we want to support the heroes on the front lines who are handling this crisis.”
