Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have solved the homicide case that occurred on January 24, 2020 at 3 Mendel Drive in Greenville.
During the course of investigation, investigators determined that 22 year-old, Kyle Louis Griesinger shot and killed his father, Steve Griesinger for an undetermined reason that investigators are still working to figure out.
Investigators learned that Kyle and his father did live together at the time of the incident.
Following the shooting Kyle Griesinger stole his father’s truck and fled to Norwood, Ohio where his body was found earlier this morning inside of his father’s truck.
Kyle’s cause of death is an apparent suicide and that case is being investigating by the Norwood Police Department.
Investigators who had warrants issued against Kyle for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime have since recalled the charges.
