WARRANTS OBTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH HERDKLOTZ PARK HOMICIDE
Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division have obtained warrants on 49 year-old,
Ryan Dusha Kedar in connection with the murder of Mark Jermon who was killed yesterday morning, at Herdklotz Park, in Greenville County.

Kedar is wanted for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.
Kedar is believed to be armed and dangerous and investigators advise people who have information regarding his whereabouts to call 911 immediately or Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23- CRIME.
While the motive is still under investigation, investigators have learned that Kedar and the victim were familiar with each other.
Investigators have also learned that Kedar is an avid outdoorsman who frequently hikes and camps at State and National parks.
In addition to showing an address at 66 Amity Lane in Greenville County, he also has relatives in New Jersey and is believed to be driving the pictured 2004 Ford Explorer, displaying a South Carolina license plate of: PRH-438

A man found dead in a Greenville Park Wednesday has been identified...
Deputies were called to Herdklotz Park on Beverly Road shortly after 10:30am Wednesday.
They found 58 year old Mark Rush Jermon of Taylors, identified by Coroner Jeff Fowler, lying in the soccer fields.
Fowler said he died from multiple gun shot wounds.
Paris Elementary and Sevier Middle Schools were put on lock-out status during the initial investigation then canceled a short time later.Jermon's death has been ruled a homicide.Lt. Ryan Flood with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office said they are working through evidence available to them to try and locate witnesses.
K9 Deputies were used Wednesday to try and track down a suspect. Flood is hoping the community can come forward with any tips.As the investigation continues, Deputies will be patrolling the Herdklotz Park area.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office issued the following press release Wednesday.
Investigators are currently conducting a death investigation after receiving a 911 call, just after 10:30am regarding a gunshot victim at a park, located at 126 Beverly Road.
The investigation is in its very early stages and no further information is available at this time, however investigators have confirmed an adult male victim is deceased, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Paris Elementary and Sevier Middle School have both been placed on Lock-out, out of an abundance of caution due to the close proximity to the incident location.
