Pedestrian passes away 3 days after being struck...
The driver of a 2006 Honda Civic traveling west bound on I-26 struck a pedestrian in the roadway near mile marker 80 Sunday night, shortly after 11:00pm in Newberry County.
The Pedestrian was transported to the hospital with injuries.
Master Trooper Brandon Bolt with the South Carolina Highway Patrol reports the victim died three days later on August 26th.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
The driver of the Civic, and sole occupant, was not injured.
