A man has been arrested after 15 pounds of marijuana was found inside his car while parked on an Upstate roadway.
19 year-old Derek Jose Trujillo was sitting in his parked car on Woodruff Road Tuesday night when a deputy and his K-9 approached the car to find out what was going on.
Officer Newman noticed several signs of drugs in the car and a search found Trujillo to have over 15 pounds of marijuana and other pot products as well as about $7,200 in cash.
Trujillo was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana.
K-9 Deputy Sarge is to be commended.
