
The City of Greenville hosted its final regularly scheduled press conference today, focusing mainly on the Greater Greenville Pledge and La Promesade Greenville.

Carlos Phillips of the Greenville Chamber reviewed the Business Recovery Task Force report, which was released today.

The ten goals/recommendations that were released with the report were informed by the business impact survey which was completed in the past months.
Phillips outlined each of the ten goals but emphasized the tenth, which is to "position the Greenville community to respond quickly to future economic and community crisis events.
Adela Mendoza with Hispanic Alliance SC said the Hispanic community is working hard to maintain a healthy economic pulse in the Upstate.
The organization has assisted the Business Recovery Task Force by translating the content of the Greater Greenville Pledge to create La Promesade Greenville.
During the press conference, doctors from Prisma Health and Bon Secours St. Francis Health System both reported relatively flat numbers for the last two weeks.
Dr. Marcus Blackstone of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System encouraged employers to require mask use for employees.
The City of Greenville will continue to have COVID-19 press conferences on an as needed basis.
