Ezell Blvd. and Dec. 7, 2018 at McDonald’s, 1392 E. Main St., Duncan. The charges include crimes committed against the businesses and the employees.
Mosley was arrested following the Dec. 7, 2018 hold-up of the McDonald’s restaurant near the intersection of Highway 290 & I-85.
Mosley wore clothing that concealed his arms and face when he entered the business about 4:20 a.m. and demanded money while armed with a handgun.
Mosley used the handgun to restrict the movements of employees while he took money from the business.
A Duncan police officer attempted to stop Mosley’s getaway vehicle in the parking lot and a high-speed chase ensued. Sheriff’s deputies and a Lyman police officer quickly joined the pursuit.
Mosley fired multiple gunshots in the direction of the pursuing officers. Mosley made a U-turn at one point and drove directly toward his pursuers.
A sheriff’s deputy rammed Mosley’s car near the Commerce Street intersection of Highway 290.
Mosley was struck by law enforcement gunfire at one point during the sequence of events and he was jailed after being released from the hospital.
He is paralyzed from an injury sustained during the crime spree.
Mosley admitted to two of the robberies in police interviews after his arrest. Security cameras connected him to the third hold-up.
“Local law enforcement did a great job defusing an exceptionally dangerous sequence of events without innocent parties being injured,” Assistant Solicitor Jennifer Jordan said.
Mosley’s prior criminal record consisted of a reckless driving offense.
