An Anderson man is in critical condition after reportedly shooting himself while playing Russian Roulette.
According to the police report, investigators arrived at the scene on Newell Street at 5:30 PM on June 17th and found a man laying next to a car with a gunshot wound on the right side of his head.
The investigators provided emergency treatment to keep the man alive.
EMS arrived shortly after and took over for the investigators.
The man's identity was initially unknown, but investigators later learned he is 19 year-old Antavis Juwan Johnson.
Further investigation suggests Johnson shot himself while playing Russian Roulette.
Johnson is currently in critical condition.
