Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have charged 29 year-old, Jordan Douglas Jaggers with Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime in connection with the April 27th shooting that occurred at 80 Bates Crossing Road.

Following the incident, which was originally described to investigators as an accident, Jaggers was charged with possession of drugs, after marijuana was located during the execution of a search warrant.

Since then, investigators discovered that Jaggers shot and killed the victim following an incident inside Jaggers’ mobile home.

The victim, who was transported by EMS, died a short time later in the hospital.

Investigators have learned that the victim was allowed in the home prior to the shooting, as the two of them had been friends for a number of years.

Jaggers is currently in the Greenville County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond for the drug-related charge and is awaiting a bond hearing for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.
