This week, AnMed Health said all patients arriving for appointments or procedures will be required to wear a face mask or covering in order to diminish the spread of COVID-19.

AnMed made the announcement this past Thursday.

Masks and coverings apply at all AnMed hospitals, doctors office visits, emergency rooms and outpatient facilities.

In lieu of a mask, AnMed Health said a bandana or scarf covering would be acceptable.

According to AnMed's website, visitation restrictions, that went into place March 20th, are limited to 3 situations: end-of-life, labor and delivery and pediatric patients.

Only one visitor is allowed at a time and family members will have to wait outside as the waiting area is off limits.

Those aged 16 and under will not be allowed to visit.

AnMed also shares if you feel at risk for Coronavirus, do not go to a doctor's office without calling first.

AnMed Health E-Visits are available.
