The Cherokee Creek Fire Department announced with heavy heart the passing of one of their Firefighters Thursday morning.
23 year old Adam Parris, who served the Fire Department for 6 years, was involved in a motorcycle accident March 27th which left him critically injured.
He was riding with a passenger on the bike, who did not survive.
According to the Cherokee Creek's Facebook Page, 2 weeks after his accident, he passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon.
Adam Parris also served in the North Carolina Army National Guard.
