The Upstate won't see any panthers this summer.

Training camp for the Carolina Panthers football team will not be held at Wofford College.

A decision made by the NFL Tuesday.

According to the NFL website, all teams must train at their home facilities for players safety in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is the first time in Panthers training history that they will not set up on the college campus.

The President of Wofford, Nayef Samhat, released a statement saying that they look forward to resuming the training camp in 2021.

President Samhat did take the time to address the state of our Nation in a Facebook Post concerning the riots and unrest in the wake of George Floyd's death.
