This expansion closes various businesses including:

  • Clothing Stores
  • Shoe and Clothing Accessory Stores
  • Jewelry Stores
  • Luggage and leather Goods Stores
  • Department Stores
  • Florists
  • Sporting Goods Stores

McMaster specifically noted that hardware stores, firearm retailers and home improvement stores are not included in this list.

This order will go into effect starting Monday, April 6th, at 5 p.m.

Additionally, McMaster issued a new executive order that goes into effect immediately, suspending all short-term rentals such as hotels, motels and rental homes.

Military and medical personnel, first responders, and those in commercial transportation are excluded from this new order.
