Outdoor facilities throughout the state are preparing for a big Memorial Day weekend.
Barb Krumm, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Ocean Lakes Family Campground, said her team has been working at full tilt, particularly after Governor Henry McMaster's announcement yesterday.

McMaster lifted restrictions on attraction facilities, including waterparks.
"My team did a great job on how they have controlled, on how they have sanitized," Krumm said.
Not only have they been sanitizing and creating signage, Krumm said they are also devising original ways to communicate with their guests.

"In our Adventure River, we were able to leave the tubes in the water flipped upside down. That was the sign to guests: upside down, it's clean; right side up, you don't want to use that one," Krumm said.
Basic water safety is still crucial as well.
Krumm reports they are still trying to hire all their lifeguards for the summer.

She also reminded that safety is not just for yourself but for the others around you and to be patient with the reopening process.
