The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has arrested eight subjects, seven men and one woman, as a result of a burglary and grand larceny investigation near Seneca.

During the evening hours of April 13th, a deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to an address on Petty Road in reference to a reported burglary to a garage.

After making entry into the garage with the property owner, deputies opened an investigation which was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.

As the investigation continued the next day, deputies were notified by a family member of the property owner that several motorcycles were missing from the garage.

Further investigation revealed that approximately nine motorcycles were taken along with some motorcycle parts.
