
One man is dead after a standoff with Greenville County SWAT that lasted throughout Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Around 8:30 PM on Saturday night, Greenville County SWAT was called to a residence on Suber Road in relation to a report about a woman who was shot with what is suspected to be a pellet gun.
According to a release from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, the victim is safe and did not have any life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was believed to have a firearm, and deputies attempted to negotiate his surrender.
The negotions carried on into the night.
According to a separate release, the suspect took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound after several hours of negotiation.
The Greenville County Coroner is expected to perform at autopsy shortly.
