A pedestrian was struck and killed around 4am this morning (Wednesday, Aug. 26th) on Augusta Road.
Trooper Joe Hovis with the South Carolina Highway Patrol reports the victim was crossing the street when hit by a 2002 Hyundai traveling North.
The victim passed away on the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
The driver of the Hyundai was not injured.
