A Piedmont man has been arrested in a murder case from last year.
Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputies report 62 year old James Casey was arrested and charged on Thursday for the fatal stabbing of Stevie Thompson in October 2019.
On October 25th, authorities found Thompson suffering from a knife wound and slumped over his bicycle.
The two men reportedly knew each other although motives for the attack are still unknown.
Casey been charged with Murder and Possession of a Gun/Knife During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
He is currently being held at the Greenville County Detention Center.
