Powerful Storms Brought Tornado Warnings

Powerful storms that crossed parts of the Upstate Monday evening brought gusty winds, hail and the formation of a tornado.

A tornado warning was issued for Spartanburg County Monday evening.

Additional storms overnight, knocked power out for thousands. 

Duke Energy is working to restore power to more than the reported 4,000 outages in the Upstate. 

According to Duke Energy's Power Outage map, more than  2,000 are without power in the Greenville area and about 175 customers affected near the Greenville Spartanburg International Airport.

As of right now, no injuries have been reported due to the storms.
