Five candidates filed with the Republican Party.
A Republican Party Primary will be held on January 7th, to determine the Republican Party nominee to face the Democratic Candidate in the Special Election.
Facing off in the Republican Primary will be Darius Hall, Hobart Lewis, AT ‘Tommy’ Smith, Robert Whatley, and Sean Zukowsky.
If a run-off is necessary to determine the party nominee, that would take place on Tuesday, January 21st.
The special election to fill the remainder of the term for Sheriff of Greenville County will be held on March 10th, 2020.
