A Simpsonville man has been arrested after reportedly helping his brother escape a work crew last year.
The S.C. Department of Corrections Police Services on Friday reports 31 year old Jerl Lynn Dickerson is charged with criminal conspiracy.
Dickerson reportedly helped plan his brother Eric's escape from a work crew in Columbia in late December.
Eric Dickerson was captured shortly after his escape.
Jerl Dickerson is being currently held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Columbia on the criminal conspiracy charge and unrelated charges from Anderson County.
