Official word from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office Facebook Page:
Greenville County Sheriff's Deputies were investigating the whereabouts of a 13 year-old boy,who was last seen last night, at around 11:20pm.
The teen was reportedly involved in an incident with his father where his father forced him out of the house and fired a gunshot.
That's when deputies were called and the father subsequently barricaded himself inside of his home on Sprouse Farm Way, in Fountain Inn.
Deputies requested SWAT to respond to assist with getting him outside of the house safely.
SWAT team members were able to locate the boy and he is unharmed. Around 4AM this morning the Greenville County Sheriff's office reported the father was in custody.
His name and charges have not yet been released.
