A suspect has been named in the Swampfire Court homicide.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office charged Tanaj Hakeem James Saturday with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Deputies were called to Swampfire Court Thursday night around 9:50 where they found one person dead.
That is all the information that has been released at this time.

The cause of death is still under investigation.
As of right now, the Sheriff's Office has not named a suspect, but do say there is no immediate threat to the public.

Tonight around 9:50 pm deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Swampfire Ct. in reference to a homicide.
At least one person is deceased and the cause of death is still under investigation.
