Townville Fatality
The Highway Patrol reports there was a deadly single vehicle collision last night in Anderson County.
Trooper Joe Hovis reports that the driver of a 2001 Pontiac ran off of SC Highway 243 about 6 miles west of Townville.
The vehicle struck a guardrail, several trees, a ditch and overturned. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the Pontiac.
The victim was taken to AnMed where they died of their injuries.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
