A traffic stop turned pursuit lead to a multiple-vehicle wreck.
Around noon today, Task Force Officers with the Greenville County Drug Enforcement Unit were conducting a narcotics investigation involving a vehicle when someone in the car pointed a gun at officers and fled the scene.
A pursuit ensued, and officers lost sight of the vehicle.
They found it shortly later though because it had been in a multiple-car wreck at the intersection of Fork Shoals Road and Ashmore Bridge.
According to reports, at least one suspect was taken into custody.
The crash is being investigated by the S.C. Highway Patrol.
