Two fatal accidents on the same day in Anderson County on September 27th.
The first accident happened on SC HWY 252 around 10:55 AM.
Both drivers were traveling west when the driver of a Harley Davidson attempted to pass several cars.
The driver of a Ford truck was turning left into a private driveway.
The motorcycle hit the side of the truck.
The seatbelted truck driver was taken by EMS to a local hospital.
The motorcycle driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown off the Harley and was dead at the scene.
The second accident happened on SC HWY 81 at the W. Roosevelt Drive intersection around 12:15 PM.
A SUV was traveling south when a car tried to turn left onto W. Roosevelt.
The SUV hit the car in the side.
The SUV driver was taken to a hospital; the driver of the car was dead on the scene.
Both accidents are still under investigation
