
Two men were arrested by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office and charged with ill treatment of animals.
On Tuesday, 32 dogs were found on were found on a Fountain Inn property on Bryson Road.
Deputies were called to the property at the request of Laurens County Animal Control.
Most of the dogs were chained up, and many looked malnourished and sickly.
The home's occupants, Jerry Westmoreland and Chicuan Amaker, were taken to the Laurens County Detention Center.
