A vehicle fire at Extended Stay America in Greenville leaves one dead.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death after crews were called to the fire around 3am this (Wednesday) morning.
Deputies responded to the Pelham Road location.
They found an adult male victim in the driver's seat of the vehicle after the fire was extinguished.
Lt. Ryan Flood with the Sheriff's Office is asking if anyone with information to come forward and call CrimeStoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office is also investigating.

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are conducting an investigation into a vehicle fire that left one person deceased.
The incident happened at around 3:00am this morning after deputies responded to the parking lot of the Extended Stay America, located at 3715 Pelham Road regarding a vehicle fire.
After the fire was extinguished, the adult male’s body was discovered in the driver’s seat.
This case is being investigated by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office. If anyone has information we ask they call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
