Nineteen years ago today, evil infiltrated Freedom's atmosphere, violated our home, the United States of America.
Today, we remember the lives ripped from our cities... unjustly taken from mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers.
Today, we remember by paying tribute in any manner in which we can to remind the world, we are strong.
From hanging Old Glory from the front porch to donating to the many 9/11 Victims Funds... there are ways to commemorate this day in history amidst a pandemic.
A Radio.com article shares a few suggestions: A "9/11 Memorial Virtual Run Walk" hosted by Virtual Run Challenge honors the lives lost on September 11th by participants raising money and completing the event distance of 9.11 miles.
A live virtual tour of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum can be purchased. Tours last 45 minutes and can be booked online at www.911memorial.org.
Interactive tours are also made available led by Education staff via Zoom.
According to the website, it allows users to experience the "different paths through the Museum's vast spaces and exhibitions."
