Mourning America, a non-profit website based out of Greenville, is honoring victims of coronavirus.
Dermot Jevens and Rebecca Heiss created the website after a late night discussion about the numbers of coronavirus and lack of personalization.
Heiss and Jevens saw the faceless numbers climbing and wanted to provide a way for people to memorialize their loved ones for free.
Mourningamerica.org was started and rapidly gained attention from those who have lost loved ones to COVID-19.
Thus far, over 7,500 victims have been listed on the site, and people have reacted very positively.
Additions to the site are available here.
