A head-on collision Friday May 22nd on 85 Business in Spartanburg has resulted in the arrest of a woman for Felony DUI resulting in death.
Trooper Joe Hovis with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said Belinda Prince has been charged and is incarcerated at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the crash happened around 3:30am when Prince was driving her Jeep SOUTH in the Northbound lane of 85 Business in Spartanburg.
The driver of the Hyundai who was hit head-on had to be mechanically extracted from his vehicle.
The Coroner identified the driver of the Hyundai as 28 year old Dominique Alexander Lennon of Spartanburg.
Lennon died at 10:38am May 22nd while in surgery at the hospital.
Belinda Prince was arrested Friday, May 29th and charged with Felony DUI resulting in death.
A bond hearing was set Saturday at 2pm.
