A wrong way crash on I-85 in the early morning hours lead to multiple fatalities.
The SC Highway Patrol reports the crash happened in Anderson County on Monday morning just after midnight.
Osman Bakhtayer Nabiyeb, a 20 year old from Georgia, and three passengers were traveling south on I-85.
Roosevelt McDaniel, a 63 year old from Sumter, was driving his Chrysler north on I-85 in the southbound lane.
McDaniel struck Nabiyeb's vehicle head on.
Nabiyeb was airlifted to a hospital. A 13 year old passenger in his car and McDaniel were transported to a hospital by EMS.
The two other passengers in Nabiyeb's car died at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation.
