Close contact business were allowed to reopen on Monday May 18th.
The YMCA of Greenville opened once again, allowing people to exercise in their facilities and providing guidelines for best health practices.
Staff and members will have a temperature test before entering the building.
Scott Baddley, President and CEO of the YMCA of Greenville, encouraged all YMCA members to check the website before coming to one of their facilities as they have made several changes to keep their staff and members safe.
Group exercise, for example, is still allowed but requires pre-registration to ensure a spot in the smaller sized classes.
"With our group exercise, what we're doing is we're at a very minimum providing spaces for people to engage in group exercise that allows them between 6 to 10 feet apart. Most of our classes will be 10 feet apart to provide a little bit of extra space," Baddley said.
Classes which require equipment will have equipment laid out 10 feet apart before the class.

While the swimming pool is open, the YMCA requests swimmers come dressed for swimming, as locker rooms are unavailable.
Additionally, coffee stations and towel service will not be provided.
Water stations will also be closed; bringing water from home is encouraged.
Baddley most looks forward to being able to reconnect, saying for many the YMCA is about fellowship.
Baddley continued to say the YMCA is working on building a virtual library of home exercises for those who aren't ready to come back to the YMCA yet or those who are in high risk populations.
