The Oconee County Coroner's Office issued the following press release Sunday:
A 70 year-old Seneca man died Sunday afternoon at the Oconee Memorial Hospital emergency room.
A single vehicle collision occurred at approximately 11:00 am on West Oak Highway (SC 24) east of Seneca.
Johnny C. Patterson, 70, of Douglas Drive, Seneca, SC died at 12:48 pm.
An autopsy will be performed to assist with the investigation.
