
Paddle Fest is back again for the 8th year and, Spartanburg Water, the event organizer, says this year the event will be split evenly between Lake Blalock and Lake Bowen. Two events will be held at each park; one during the day and one in the evening.
Three Saturdays and one weekday event are scheduled for May through August. with with two Educational Paddle Tour sessions held at each location, too.

Each session size is limited to 20 participants, so it would be a good idea to register early. All participants are encouraged to bring their own kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards and safety equipment although a limited supply of each will be available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also get daylong access to the lakes and can purchase an annual permit for non-powered boats valid for use on both lakes for only $5.
