Time has come to stop the talk and take action,” Senator Greg Hembree says. “This committee will have a tough challenge ahead of them, but I have confidence that they will be diligent in their work and provide recommendations to the full Senate Education Committee for a simplified, reliable formula for years to come.”\xa0The Committee will be chaired by Senator Ross Turner, R-Greenville, and will be additionally comprised of the following members: Senate Majority Leader Shane Massey, R-Edgefield; Senate Minority Leader Nikki Setzler, D-Lexington; Senators Tom Young, R-Aiken; Rex Rice, R-Pickens; Vincent Sheheen, D-Kershaw; and Gerald Malloy, D-Darlington.
