One subject has been arrested for the murder of 33-year-old Deyarian Abercrombie that occurred on June 14, 2020, at 528 Haywood Rd. (The Coliseum).

Early that morning, due to Robinson’s intoxicated state, Abercrombie (who was working security at the incident location) asked the subject to leave several times.

After being denied service, Robinson went outside to his vehicle, retrieved a firearm, and shot Abercrombie multiple times.

With the assistance of The Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, the subject, Akira Kentay Robinson, was taken into custody and is charged with the following:

·     Murder.

·     Possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Greenville Police issued the following media release Sunday.

(GREENVILLE, SC) Officers responded to 528 Haywood Rd., The Coliseum, at approximately 1:35 am in reference to a gun-shot victim. The victim was working at the establishment as a security guard.

Due to the subject’s intoxicated state, the victim asked the subject to leave several times and was never served alcohol at the bar.

After being denied service, the subject went outside to his vehicle and retrieved a firearm. He walked back into The Coliseum through the rear entrance, and from the video surveillance, it shows the subject fire the weapon at the victim multiple times.

The subject then flees the establishment in a SUV. The victim was transported to the hospital where he did succumb to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Deyarian Nikali Abercrombie, 33, of Greenville
