The City of Greenville’s online auction of the buildings, materials and surplus items from its former Public Works facility at 360 South Hudson Street will close at Noon on Wednesday, January 30.
Potential bidders were invited to inspect any of the online items in person Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hudson Street location.
Oni Maxey, the Public Works Business Manager, said the auction is a part of Greenville County’s plan to fund the new Unity Park that is to be developed on the city’s west side.
“It’s an online auction,” said Maxey,” so all bids have to be placed through the website by noon on Wednesday January 30th.”
