The City of Greenville Public Information Department release of notification for road closures July 4th, 5th and 6th. Additional road closure information is provided as well as areas that GreenLink will not service.
The streets below will be closed from 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 4 to 1:30 a.m. on Friday, July 5 for Wells Fargo Red, White & Blue:
Main Street, from Court Street to Augusta Street
Broad Street, from Falls Street to Laurens Street
Falls Park Drive, from Main Street to Rhett Street
Main Street, from North Street to Beattie Place, will be closed from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 for Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive.
Earle Street, from Robinson Street to North Main Street, will be closed from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 for the Earle Street Independence Day Parade.
Main Street, from North Street to Beattie Place, will be closed from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 5 for Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays.
Main Street, from Broad Street to Falls Park Drive, will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday, July 5 to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 for the Liberty Bridge Jump-Off. For more information, call 804-338-5100, or

The streets below will be closed from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 for the TD Saturday Market:
Main Street, from Court Street to Washington Street
McBee Avenue, from Laurens Street to Brown Street
Beginning Tuesday, July 9, the unnamed alley off of Townes Street Extension, between East Montclair Avenue and West Hillcrest Drive, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday for a stormwater improvement project. The project is expected to take until Sunday, July 28 to complete. Afterward, the alley will be paved.
Greenlink Deviations
There will be no Greenlink fixed route or GAP service on July 4; however, Greenlink will operate a County Square park and ride trolley route to and from the Greenville Drive game and the Red, White and Blue festival site from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Due to recurring road closures associated with Downtown Alive and Main Street Fridays, the downtown trolley stop at 225 North Main will not be serviced between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
Due to road closures associated with the Liberty Bridge Jump-Off, the downtown trolleys will be unable to service the following stops from 8 p.m. on Friday, July 5 through 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 6:
S Main St & W Broad St – Top of Main & Heart of Main
206 S Main St (City Hall) – Top of Main & Heart of Main
100 Block S Main St – Top of Main & Heart of Main
Unit Block S Main St – Top of Main & Heart of Main
Due to road closures associated with the TD Saturday Market, the following fixed route bus stops will not be serviced between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays:
E McBee Ave & Falls St – Routes 1 & 14
E McBee Ave & Church St – Routes 1, 4 & 14
McBee Station – Routes 1 & 14
Additionally, the Heart of Main and Top of Main trolleys will be unable to service the following stops until after 2 p.m. on Saturdays:
