The Spartanburg Police Department and the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office held a joint press conference Wednesday morning to announce the arrest of Gregory Howard Frye.
Frye was arrested on Tuesday, and charged with one count of burglary, first degree kidnapping, and criminal sexual conduct.
He went before a magistrate judge Tuesday night where he was told he would have to go before a circuit court judge for arraignment at a later date.
Police say that additional charges are pending, and that Frye is currently being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
