Spartanburg County deputies, along with SWAT team members, responded to a shooting at a home on Old Furnace Road Tuesday night around 8:30 p.m.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s office confirmed one person is dead and others were injured.
It is being reported that 52-year-old Darryl Jones, took his own life at the scene.
The status of the other individuals injured at the Boiling Springs residence is not currently known.
