In what came as a surprise to many here in the news department, we've just learned that Wild Wing Cafe in downtown Greenville is now closed permanently.
The notice came without warning Wednesday in a brief post on the company's website which simply stated the location was "closed permantly."
The buffalo wing hotspot, known for its signature wings and laid-back atmosphere, didn't seem to be showing any slump in patronage lately, so far as our own anecdotal perspective is concerned, so the news was unexpected.
