Authorities are still investigating a carjacking and shooting that happened on I-85 Wednesday morning.
Anderson County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to an area of I-85 close to mile marker 32 around 5 AM.
A passing driver had stopped to help what they thought was a stranded motorist.
However, when they got out of the car, an unknown suspect shot them at least one time.
The shooter then stole the victim's vehicle and fled.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
The investigation is ongoing.
