The day has arrived: Election Day 2020!
Voters around the Upstate are lining up to cast their votes.
Morning
Hundreds of voters lined up outside the Morningside Baptist precinct on Pelham Road before 7 a.m. this morning. The line moved relatively quickly with poll workers preparing the voters each step of the way and frequently sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
Below, voters lined up outside Duncan Chapel Elementary as early as 6:45 a.m. Citizens report the parking lot was filled to capacity and voters began parking in fields.
Citizens report approximately 100 people were in line outside the Raintree precinct in Greenville County around 7 a.m. and the line rapidly grew to an estimated 300 people.
At a Taylors precinct, voters resorted to parking on the grass as lines stretched down the road.

Voter lines remained long as the sun climbed higher.
In Spartanburg County, one citizen reported a small line as of 6:30 a.m. which grew quickly as the polls opened.
