Saturday afternoon, the Union County Sheriff's Office along with SCDNR responded to the report of a missing hunter off of Red Bud Road in Union County.
The search, which included K-9 units and a SLED helicopter, was called off just before midnight due to darkness and the terrain being searched.
The search was resumed Sunday morning and the body of the hunter was found around 1PM.
This is an ongoing investigation by SCDNR and Union County Coroner's Office.
