The 2nd victim in the double murder in Greenville County last week has now been identified. As we previously reported, the Mauldin Police Department responded to a home on Ashby Park Lane for a welfare check on October 23rd and found a man and a woman dead.
The female victim was identified as 69 year old Janice Casey. The other victim has been identified as her husband, 69 year old Patrick Casey.
The suspect, 51 year old Darren Baer, was arrested late last week in connection to the murders. He was apprehended in Easley, a few days after the bodies were discovered.
Baer is charged with two counts of murder. Baer is currently being held at the Greenville Detention Center.
